Christmas Part 2

After we came home from church, the kids opened their gifts and I made breakfast.  Later, we loaded up the car and went to eat Christmas dinner at my grandparents.  I have no clue why I didn't take more pictures of Christmas morning.  The kids received a few big gifts but I did not take pics.

Christmas Morning Part 1

My camera went dead on Christmas Eve, so I didn't get any pictures.  But on Christmas morning, the kids got up and opened their stockings before church.  We had to wake the kids up to do this, and Hunt said he didn't care if it was Christmas, he just wanted to sleep.  Ha!

Christmas Eve Morning

We woke up Christmas Eve morning excited about Christmas and made sugar cookies.  However, they were not very good because all I had was whole wheat flour but the kids had fun.

Gingerbread Men

I made two gingerbread men cakes for the kids to decorate, but just the girls decorated because poor Hunt came down with the stomach virus.

The party was a lot of fun but I forgot to take pictures.  We had lots of good food, decorated christmas cookies, made reindeer with hand and footprints and had a gift exchange.

Hunt and Katie's Birthday Party

We just had a family party this year for Hunt's 9th birthday and Katie's 5th birthday.  It is so hard to believe how big they are getting.  We celebrated at CiCi's Pizza, but Hunt is not big on pizza, so he brought Subway.

Decorating the Christmas Tree

We always decorate the Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving.  We have a little tradition where the kids get a new ornament every year.  This year Hunt and Haley wanted dog ornaments.  Alexa got a penguin and Katie a gingerbread girl.  Kylee went to bed because she was super sleepy but she got a cupcake which suits her because she loves, loves, loves sweets.

This is so blurry but the best pic I got of all of them decorating the tree.  Afterwards, we drank hot chocolate and watched The Santa Clause.  Good Times!

Halloween 2011

Happy Halloween!  This year, we had a gladiator (Hunt), 2 cowgirls (Alexa & Haley), a fairy (Katie) and a butterfly (Kylee).

First Camping Trip

We took our first camping trip a couple of days before halloween.  We only stayed one night, but it was fun.
