Corn Shucking!!

I bought 4 bags of corn from the mennonites which is about 400 ears of corn.  So, the girls and I had to get busy.  When the girls got tired, Daniel helped out.  After about 6 hours, we were done.

The River

Daniel's grandparents live on the river in Dardanelle.  So, I took the girls down to the beach (that's what Katie calls it) to hunt for seashells.

Daniel brought home MRE's (military food) for the kids to try.  They thought it would be delicious and were excited, but then they tasted it.  Their excitment turned to disdain.

Memorial Day Weekend

We decided to go to Fayetteville/Rogers for the weekend because we could not run any water due to our septic tank issues.  We called the company but they couldn't fix it until after the long weekend.  So, a family of 8 without water or flushing toilets for the weekend did not sound appealing.  So, we packed up and left town.

At Pea Ridge Battlefield

At the drive thru zoo in Gentry.  Kylee is looking/hanging out the window to see the animals.

The camels would come up and try to stick their heads in the window.  I rolled the window up really fast.

Hunt and Haley thought these were so funny.

Kylee was not scared of holding the monkey at all.

Haley

Haley has really been into texting her friend lately.  She just has one friend who can text and she uses my phone, so I know exactly what they text.  She texted her friend this pic, so they could see what each other was wearing to bible study.  Oh, the joys of being 11 year old girls.

Kylee is sick.

Kylee is so sick with a fever virus.  She fell asleep on the floor.  This. Never. Ever. Happens.
