Tonight, I made a couple of different pizzas. I wanted to see if a pizza cooks/tastes better in a Pampered Chef stone. Plus, the kids are picky, and wanted a plain pizza. Anyway, the pizza in a regular pizza pan was crispier, and the pizza in the stone was softer. So, I guess it is all up to your preference. I did use a Pampered chef recipe for a garden pizza, and tweaked it a bit for us. It was delicious!
Garden Pizza
1 pizza crust
Olive oil
Italian seasoning
Pizza sauce
Mozzarella cheese
Cheddar cheese
Tomatoes
Onion
Squash
Mushrooms
Canadian bacon
Bake crust on 400 for 7 minutes, then mix olive oil and Italian seasoning, and spread over crust. Next, add pizza sauce and tomatoes. Then, top with cheese. Finally, layer veggies and Canadian bacon, and bake for 15-17 minutes.
I saw this floating around on the Internet and wanted to try it. If anyone is interested, the recipe is below.
American Flag Cookie
1 roll of sugar cookie dough (I used chocolate chip because my kids will pick the fruit off, anyway)
8 oz. Cream cheese
Sugar
Vanilla
Whipped cream
Strawberries
Blueberries
Roll out cookie dough on square cooking sheet, bake according to directions. Mix cream cheese, whipped cream, vanilla, and sugar. Spread on cooled cookie. Top with fruit to make a flag. Enjoy!
