Field Trip

Today, we decided to hang out with dad. First, we visited this old dam built by the ccc at Spring Lake.

Then, we ate at this little cafe in Belleville. It was great, and the kids loved the possum pie.

After that, we found this old schoolhouse with real outhouses. I cannot imagine having to go outside every time, nature calls. The kids thought it was funny.

There was an old cemetery next to the school with tombstones over 100 years old. The kids thought it was neat. After we got to the nearest town (Paris) from our little adventure, we enjoyed slushies until someone poked the straw thru the full cup of grape slushie.
